Black Friday is over - Time to Think Christmas

Happy Cyber Monday! Black Friday is done and your blood pressure levels are finally coming back down. So let’s have a look at some nice ad creatives I’ve seen this week.

A lot of products claim to be the strongest - Using claims like this in your paid media is a great way to gain clicks and sales. But it can also put people off. They see a wild claim and they’re first thought it “Lies”. So what can you do to prove it?

Make ads that put your claims to the test.

I see a lot of these in the tech space with phone cases. For example, them throwing the phone off a building etc to prove how strong the product is. But I’ve never seen it done with a sock 🧦

In this creative, it is 40 seconds of people trying to destroy the sock and all of them fail. So what does this do for the brand and the product? Well, it gives the customer confidence in the product. They’re so much more likely to convert knowing the product lives up to its claims.

Creative like this is entertaining and informative, it’s a golden bullet. If you can make ads like this they will do wonders for your brand and product. But not everyone can make ads like this, so instead make ads that help your customers trust in the product - whatever that is for your brand. Give it a try.

ZitSticka

Black Friday is done, but the festive season is right around the corner. So it’s time to start making those gifting ads! Whether it’s UGC of someone giving your product to a loved one or a listical advert, these are some of the best creatives you can make this season.

This one from ZitSticka is a great example of framing bundles as festive gifts. Honestly, this is the best way to raise that AOV. Most people are buying for other people at this time of the year, so it makes sense to advertise in that way and that’s just what this creative is doing in that headline copy “The Complete Skincare gift you need”. They’re targeting the creative with the headline and letting the price and product callouts do the rest.

Solid static for this time of the year.

Mysa (Made by me)

Really wanted to showcase this creative we made at Fraggell. It’s for a brand called Mysa and their product replaces your old boring thermostat with a smart one. Products like this can be really hard to show in ad creative - But we found a way. Our idea was to show all the places you can use the thermostat while calling out core USPs and this is what we came up with.

Let me break down how we made this.

First up, we filmed the device in our studio. Once we had that footage it was all in the editing. We used Photoshop’s generative fill tool to create fake walls and backgrounds for the product to sit on, allowing us endless control over the location in great detail. After that, we just enhanced the display to help it pop and cut it all together with graphics and music.

Super simple, but it’s so effective - I love it!
