Creative tips the pros don't want you to know πŸ‘€

Few things I want to pick up on this first advert. So let’s get started.

Number 1 - This creative could have easily been a static ad BUT they made it a video - Why? For that sweet sweet data. Video gives us much more data than images and so if you are able to make a video from a static then do it! The design is all the same, but the product image is a video instead - I love it!

Number 2 - A lot of the time customer struggle to find the right product for them. Especially if you have a lot of SKUs. A lot of stores lose sales for this reason, the customer feels overwhelmed and then exits before you've even had a chance to show them what product could be correct for them.

There are a few ways you can get around this objection. One of them is like this example inside your ad creative. Another way is creating a quiz on your landing page to help people find the product that's perfect for them.

I think doing it in the way of the example is the best. It allows the customer to choose before they even land on your website increasing the intent to purchase massively.

Feel

One of the main reasons I picked this creative this week was for the opening few seconds. When you're selling a product that goes inside someone's body like a supplement It's very important that people feel confident that this isn't going to kill them. One way of doing this is to include social proof from a medical professional this could be a doctor, dentist or even a dietitian.

A lot of the time this is one of the main reasons people don't purchase a supplement is because they don't feel safe. It's our job as marketers to make customers feel like they made the right purchase.

This is also one of the reasons why they include so many before and afters within this video. it's to once again reinforce that they're making the correct buying decision when choosing Feel.

just because you believe that your product works doesn't mean that the customer does.

Let's talk about podcast clips. We see them all over TikTok and a lot of the time we watch them expecting something interesting however 80% of the time it's not what we expected.

This above example is a founder telling the story of how she started her business and that's all you need to do to make a good podcast ad creative. But the best part is your founder doesn't actually NEED to be on a podcast.

Believe it or not a lot of the podcast clips that we see on TikTok are actually fake. And by fake I mean setup. The videos are scripted and a lot of the time the person on camera isn't actually speaking to anyone else. But why would you do this? Well, the answer is pretty simple. In order to be on a podcast you need to be trusted and have something important to say. So the second that our brain sees someone speaking on a β€œpodcast” we instantly trust them and what they have to say.

Techniques like this can elevate your founder videos so they don't just look like everyone else's. it allows you to sell your brand in a much more organic setting. Genius.
